After an unexpected catered dinner from Alexis, Sean Rowan studies an old news segment about Blake's custody battle for Steven’s son, Danny. Alexis faces relentless questioning from tabloid reporter Rebecca Payne about her waning support for her gubernatorial run. Heartbroken, Sammy Jo comes to terms with the lack of intimacy in her relationship with Steven. Accepting Alexis' invitation for a place to stay, Sean arrives at her hotel suite, and they succumb to their desires. Blake, surprised by Jeff's assistance as his campaign manager, finds himself in a web of intrigue.
