Blake hands over Steven's leadership role at Denver-Carrington to Jeff, leaving Adam feeling betrayed and motivated to seize control for himself. Meanwhile, Jeff dismisses Sammy Jo's concerns about his closeness to Fallon with playful banter. Krystle experiences a terrifying nightmare that stirs troubling memories, waking up in a panic. When they arrive in Los Angeles to consult Dr. Hampton, Blake informs Krystle that her persistent headaches stem from injuries sustained in a horse riding accident years ago. At the morgue with Sgt. Zorelli, Fallon feels a strange familiarity with a deceased man. Upon discussing it with Blake, he reveals the young man resembles someone from his past. As Blake searches through old photos from 1963, Krystle struggles to cope with her mounting headache during a gathering for Blake's supporters.
