Krystle consents to undergo the surgery only after Blake hesitantly signs her divorce papers and a living will, which will take effect if the operation fails. Virginia opens up to Krystle about her difficult childhood after their mother abandoned her. As their bond strengthens, Krystle invites Sable over for dinner. Meanwhile, Fallon is troubled by a recurring dream of Roger Grimes. Dex enlists his Vietnam friend, Painter, to look into Colbyco's controller. At her dinner party, Krystle recognizes Gibson, a caterer, as the figure from her nightmares. Concerned that Krystle might connect the dots, Sable instructs Gibson to stop his dives in the lake, where Roger Grimes' body was originally discovered. Gibson, believing he’s found an underwater passage, hesitates to give up his search. Virginia reacts oddly when introduced to Dex. After reaffirming their wedding vows, Blake finds himself needing to cancel their plans.
