After a woman is discovered strangled with a significant stash of Ecstasy in her purse, Detectives Briscoe and Green struggle to gather enough evidence to charge their main suspect, drug dealer Francis 'Taz' Partell. However, during an interrogation of one of Taz's former associates, they uncover fresh evidence linking him to the earlier murder of a bouncer in the Bronx.
