Episode Overview

After a prison gang orders a hit on a Sing Sing corrections officer and his family, they enlist a recently released ex-con to carry out the deed. In a desperate bid for survival, the officer claims self-defense when he’s charged with the parolee's murder. As the trial unfolds, the gang tries to sway the verdict by threatening the judge, who stands firm against their intimidation. Once the trial wraps up, McCoy realizes that the officer's concerns about the gang's influence and control were entirely justified.
