When the daughter of a college friend of Van Buren is discovered dead in her room, ruled a suicide, he teams up with Green and Fontana to track down the man responsible for the acid attack that disfigured her face months prior, a tragedy that contributed to her decision to take her life. Van Buren's efforts, however, prove to be fruitless.
