Episode Overview

Traci Sands, a teenage suspect, tragically passes away while in police custody after being arrested for the murder of the man who alerted child protective services about her. Rodgers uncovers that her death was caused by a benecrine I.U.D. that interacted dangerously with her sickle cell syndrome. Fontana and Green trace the situation back to a charitable clinic and nurse Gloria Rhodes, who thinks she is doing good by sterilizing women she deems unfit to have children. In court, McCoy confronts his former assistant district attorney, Paul Robinette, who is representing Rhodes in the case.
