S17E16 Murder Book
Episode Overview
When publisher Serena Darby is discovered dead in her apartment, all eyes turn to J.P. Lange, a former pro baseball player previously acquitted of his wife's murder, who authored a book detailing how he might have committed the crime. Detectives Green and Cassady trace the clues from Lange to Gerald Stockwell, a ghostwriter who worked on the book. In an attempt to prove his innocence, Stockwell presents McCoy and Rubirosa with evidence suggesting that a juror in Lange's trial was bribed to ensure his acquittal.
