Episode Overview

Returning to New York with their suspect, Briscoe and Curtis work to establish his timeline on the night of the murder. However, they discover another individual was present at the scene and, crucially, may have had a motive. Following the issuance of a new arrest warrant, McCoy and Ross travel to Los Angeles to defend their case against challenges posed by the suspect’s defense attorney—who happens to be Ross's ex-husband, Neal Gorton.
