Episode Overview

The police’s best chance of rescuing a kidnapped hired car driver lies with one of the armed robbers responsible for his abduction. However, the robber insists on an immunity deal that would prevent any prosecution for the fatal shooting of an off-duty officer. This puts McCoy in a tough spot as he tries to balance the demands of the police, who are adamant about pursuing charges, and the kidnapped man’s wife, who is desperate for any possible way to save her husband.
