Episode Overview

Aileen and Claude part ways due to a miscommunication. Determined to escape her impending execution, Aileen resolves to end her engagement with Claude and immerse herself in her work. As the ball approaches, she unexpectedly receives a stunning dress from Claude. When she attempts to woo him, he remains distant, but once she stops trying, he pursues her. At the ball, Aileen arrives dressed as a duck, feeling bewildered, but is utterly captivated by the heartfelt words Claude expresses to her.
