His extensive menu features 72 items, including his unusual signature dish of prawns in garlic with chocolate sauce. Laurence's friend Alex manages the front, while sous-chef Norman struggles with the barbecue, serving undercooked kebabs and steaks. With a chaotic dining area and long waits for customers, Laurence's business suffered a £22,000 loss last year, yet he refuses to embrace Gordon’s suggestions for a simplified menu to attract diners.
