Alex, an ex-actor, seeks to showcase his talent as a debut director. In his inaugural film, he collaborates with Leda Bidell, a novice actress. However, when Leda uncovers his true intentions, she decides to play out the final scene with him for real, leaving Alex with a deep-seated fear that lingers throughout his life.
