When Sarah introduces Anita and Drazic to the wonders of the internet, things quickly spiral out of control. Anita finds herself captivated by a guy named DJ Byron, but their planned meeting leads her into a perilous situation. Meanwhile, Drazic faces issues with customs while trying to import CDs to sell at school, leading both of them to learn valuable lessons. In another storyline, Nikki captures Mai's performance as a human sculpture at the mall, accidentally recording a pickpocket in action. When they present the footage in class, it sparks a heated discussion about how to respond. Additionally, Kurt is embarrassed when his dad, Barry, shows up to football practice inebriated, prompting Kurt to take over coaching himself. This decision doesn't sit well with everyone, particularly Ryan, who quits the team. However, Ryan's exit seems tied to his feelings about Kurt and Nikki's new relationship, as he holds onto hope that he hasn't truly lost her.
