Episode Overview
After a young woman is brutally murdered following a night out at Verdant, Detectives Lance and Hilton inform Oliver and Tommy that she was under the influence of a drug called Vertigo. Concerned, Oliver heads to the mental facility housing The Count, only to discover he’s not in a state to distribute drugs. However, when The Count escapes and Starling City faces a surge in Vertigo-related chaos, Oliver and Diggle take it upon themselves to find him. Meanwhile, as Detective Lance gathers damning evidence against Tommy, he strives to prove his innocence, leading him down an unforeseen path. In a flashback, Oliver reflects on the valuable lessons learned from Slade and Shado during his time on the island.
