Mr. Gold and Regina dispatch Ariel to Storybrooke with an object that will enable Belle to find a concealed artifact capable of defeating Pan. However, they are unaware that two intruders have entered the town, determined to thwart their plans at any price. Meanwhile, Emma, Neal, and Hook set out to discover Dark Hollow, the hiding place of Peter Pan's shadow, with hopes of capturing it. Additionally, Mary Margaret confronts David, feeling hurt that he has kept his poisoning a secret from her.
