Episode Overview
At the start of the episode, Robin is rallying the teachers to join forces for a strike against the school district's unfair contract. After much consideration, Mark supports the idea of a strike. The following day, teachers and students gather to make signs and protest. Mark appears on TV promoting their cause and stating their demands. Meanwhile, Tyler arrives to collect rent, but Mark is unable to pay. To make ends meet, Mark takes a job delivering mail at Vanessa's office, barging in on her meeting with humorous interruptions. Ignoring her directives, Mark surprisingly proves himself by delivering coffee to the boss and impressing a client. Eventually, he befriends the boss and lands a promotion to assistant manager of Sales, outshining Vanessa in both position and salary, while she ends up as his secretary.
