As Mark steps in as a substitute teacher, he quickly finds himself facing quite a challenge. Among his students is the spirited Michelle Tanner, who, along with her friends, starts to tease him relentlessly. In an attempt to regain control of the class, Mark tries a stunt that backfires, leaving him in pain. Feeling remorseful about her role in the chaos, Michelle approaches him to lend a hand and make amends.
