Episode Overview

Mark's mother pays him a visit, eager to find a job and leave the house, but Mark isn't on board with her plans. To intervene, he calls his father, hoping he can convince her to stay home. When P.J. makes her substitute for his English class while he's out sick, Mark discovers that his mom is actually a fantastic teacher. Upset, he rushes to the school, only to find Earvin, Andre, and the rest of the class looking at inappropriate pictures, which he quickly confiscates. When his mother enters, he tries to hide but fails. As she starts teaching, Mark begins to appreciate her talent. Later, dinner brings his parents back together as his father talks to his mother. Meanwhile, Nicole places an ad in the newspaper to help her mom find a date for Mother's Day. Tyler surprises Geneva with a piece of string as a gesture of thanks for her kindness.
