Episode Overview

Emily and Micah are in a panic when they realize their patient urgently requires a kidney transplant, only to be perplexed when she declines the offer from her new husband. Meanwhile, Emily lends a hand to Dr. Hamada and Dr. Bandari in a delicate surgery after they learn that one of the twins their patient is carrying for her sister has a serious heart valve issue. At the same time, Emily is determined to keep Cassandra away from Will, so she aims to secure a position as Dr. Bandari's research assistant. However, Cassandra is also vying for the role and is prepared to use underhanded tactics to win.
