Episode Overview

A woman arrives at the ER after a car crash, impaled by a spike in her torso, leading everyone to suspect her boyfriend was responsible. She survives surgery, but the medical team fears she might be paralyzed. As investigations unfold, they learn that the boyfriend suffers from lupus, which could have contributed to the incident. Meanwhile, Will is haunted by memories from a similar case. Emily is faced with a model battling jaw cancer who is adamant against surgery. As they gear up for the in-service exam, Emily and Cassandra vie for Will’s focus and affection.
