Harry's Law (2011)
S02E13 After the Lovin'
Episode Overview
As Harry navigates the familiar corridors of her former law firm with her client, she steels herself for a meeting with rival lawyer Sam Berman. Berman remarks, "Your attorney was once a respected member of our team. It's unfortunate she left," to which Harry retorts, "I was fired." Harry is representing Earl Connolly, a husband mourning the loss of his wife to smoking-related illness, while Berman defends the cigarette company being targeted in the lawsuit. Berman proposes a settlement of $123,000, to which Harry indignantly responds, "For a deceased wife?" After dismissing the offer, Berman cautions her about the lengthy trial process ahead, given the wife's history of smoking. Undeterred, Harry stands resolute, ready to fight for justice alongside her client.
