Sacha and Donna feel a wave of anxiety as they prepare to receive an injured inmate from prison. After discussing the situation with Ric, Sacha becomes resolute in his quest to safeguard his friend, but could his efforts end up complicating matters further? On her first day back in surgery, Jac fills her calendar with cases, but Gaskell throws her for a loop by presenting a particularly challenging one. Frieda can only observe as Jac pushes through, though she might later question her choices. Essie receives an unexpected and unwelcome surprise in the form of Raf's inheritance. Gaskell steps in to offer his assistance as she contemplates how to handle this new burden, ultimately arriving at a significant decision.
