Episode Overview

Unexpectedly, Amane's mother, Shihoko, shows up at the apartment while Mahiru is there. Amane quickly asks Mahiru to hide, but Shihoko soon discovers her presence, leading the two neighbors to scramble to dispel Shihoko's belief that they are a couple. Despite the chaos, Mahiru feels moved by Shihoko's warmth and kindness as a mother. Noticing Mahiru's joy when called by her first name, Amane decides to do the same. From that moment on, they both start addressing each other by their first names.
