Episode Overview

In the 1950s, a UFO crashes to Earth, witnessed by a couple who rush to tell their town, but their story falls on deaf ears. Fast forward to 1986 in London and later Cornwall, where a man in his fifties feels a compelling pull towards Cornwall. He’s accosted by three young men, but he easily overpowers them. Forcing one to lead him to their leader, he discovers it's Morgana, a woman in her late thirties. She instructs Lancelot to seek out Merlin, who lies asleep in a cave. When Lancelot awakens Merlin, he learns the ancient sorcerer has plans to bring forth a new king. What secrets does Merlin hold, and who can ultimately save humanity? Perhaps it lies with the Last Defender of Camelot.
