Episode Overview

While covering for a friend going through chemotherapy, Amy takes the reins on her first jury trial, facing off against a former law school peer representing the parents of a murdered girl in a lawsuit against the parents of their daughter's teenage killer. Meanwhile, Maxine embarks on the exciting journey of car shopping for the very first time. On another front, Vincent senses that Maxine doesn’t regard his writing with the seriousness he craves when she interrupts him to request his help in babysitting six energetic first graders at Lauren’s sleepover.
