Episode Overview
Weeks have gone by since Amy's miscarriage, but she’s still grappling with the emotional fallout. She avoids conversations about the house with David and dismisses Bruce's concerns about her growing bond with Graciela. At a wedding, Maxine runs into an old high school friend and learns that her recent divorce has left her feeling down. Determined to help, Maxine encourages her friend to volunteer at the hospital, where they can hold HIV-positive babies to aid their development. Meanwhile, Crystal invites Vincent to her AA meeting, celebrating 30 days of sobriety, marking a new chapter for them. When Graciela gets arrested during a drive-by shooting, Amy fights hard to prevent her from being charged as an adult. Bruce cautions her not to get too attached, fearing another loss, but sadly, that’s exactly what happens. David returns Amy's share of the deposit on their dream home and suggests they take some time apart.
