Determined to recruit new artists, Cookie and Lucious challenge each other to a race. Lucious tries his luck at a high-stakes poker game, hoping to discover a promising rapper, while Cookie scours the streets for hidden talent during auditions. At the same time, Hakeem is consumed by his anger in the studio, believing it fuels his best work to date. Meanwhile, Jamal faces a dilemma when Becky points out that he’s been dedicating too much of his time to Kai.
