Convinced that he plays a role in his ex-wife Rose's troubles, Alan, Josh's father, decides to drop off his younger girlfriend Mae at the corner store before heading to the family house to see Josh. He wants to make sure he doesn’t cause any additional stress for Rose during his visit.
