As Mystic Falls prepares for the upcoming festival honoring the comet's passage, Vicki is still in the hospital recovering from Damon’s assault. Stefan visits her in hopes of using his powers to erase her memories of the attack, but Matt interrupts his plan. At the same time, during a parent/teacher conference, Mr. Tanner informs Aunt Jenna that Jeremy is in trouble and requires urgent help.
