Elena wakes up the morning after the accident, haunted by her worst fear—she’s dead, having vampire blood in her system, and now she must endure a harrowing transformation into a vampire or face imminent death. Stefan reassures her that he and Bonnie will explore every option to save her, but Damon is furious at his brother for allowing this to happen.
