Title: Catch Me If You Can Plot: Jeremy is enraged when Klaus attempts to manipulate him by endangering Matt's life. Damon steps in to train Jeremy for a confrontation with Klaus’ new vampires, but they soon discover that Kol has already taken action. Kol is determined to thwart any efforts to find the cure. Meanwhile, Rebekah seeks Stefan's assistance, reminding him of their past friendship. As Sheriff Forbes and Mayor Hopkins interrogate Shane about the Founders' Council murders, Bonnie interjects with her own probing questions, causing Shane’s evasive answers to trigger Bonnie's powers. To protect Jeremy, Elena strikes a deal with Klaus, but an unforeseen threat emerges, prompting her to devise a bold plan for Jeremy's safety.
