Episode Overview

Stefan and Klaus reluctantly team up to tackle the threat Connor poses to the town. When Connor kidnaps Jeremy, Matt, and April at the Grill, tensions rise between Stefan and Damon over how to handle the situation, leaving Elena stuck in the middle once more. The conflict escalates when Klaus dispatches one of his hybrids, Dean, to confront Connor. Meanwhile, Caroline is taken aback to discover Hayley at the Lockwood mansion. In another part of town, Professor Shane collaborates with Bonnie to help her overcome her feelings of fear and guilt.
