Episode Overview
Elena, realizing she must confront her feelings about Damon’s death, seeks Alaric’s support to help her move forward. Meanwhile, Enzo persuades Caroline to accompany him as he follows a lead that could help bring Damon and Bonnie home. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn when they discover what Stefan has been up to. At the same time, Matt grows concerned about Jeremy, who has been spending time with Sarah, a new and enigmatic arrival in Mystic Falls. In another part of town, Tripp, the head of the community protection program, shares a surprising revelation with Matt about his ties to the area. Finally, with the Other Side forever lost, Damon and Bonnie team up to figure out their current situation and how they might return home.
