Episode Overview
On Alaric and Jo's wedding day, Elena and Bonnie step in to assist Jo, who is feeling overwhelmed with last-minute tasks. Meanwhile, Stefan discovers a significant secret that Damon has been hiding, prompting him to take Damon on a road trip to help him gain clarity about his future with Elena. In a different part of Mystic Falls, Caroline returns after her humanity-free outburst and starts to mend fences with her friends, leading her to reflect on her potential relationship with Stefan. Additionally, Bonnie experiences intense nightmares about Lily pursuing her, which drives her to seek Matt's assistance in confronting the threat.
