While Enzo battles against the influence controlling him, Bonnie becomes entangled in a perilous situation, faced with a painful choice between two of her closest friends. Meanwhile, Alaric is at the Armory, investigating a strange artifact that he believes could aid in rescuing Damon and Enzo. As this unfolds, Damon's struggles bring him to Tyler Lockwood, who tries to reason with him before his situation spirals even further out of control.
