The contestants were divided into two groups and given the challenge of creating a three-course feast for an ordinary family, while also impressing judges Matt Preston and Curtis Stone—all within a limited budget and strict time constraints. Ultimately, both families rated the teams the same, leaving the judges unable to determine a clear victor, resulting in a tie. Consequently, each team had to identify their lowest performers, leading to a bottom two selection from both sides.
