In the penultimate round, the top four contestants prepared three signature dishes that would feature in their own cookbooks, should they be crowned Australia's next MasterChef. Renowned chef Maggie Beer joined as a guest judge, adding her expertise to the panel. Each participant took the opportunity to present their culinary vision, sharing the inspiration and themes behind their cookbooks with the judges.
