Episode Overview

Joseph Aynders, the butler, makes it clear to Krystle that he disapproves of her, implying she doesn't fit into the Carrington family. Realizing Blake is the one who purchased the necklace to signify his awareness, they engage in a heated argument. Frustrated, Krystle concludes that a future with Blake is unfeasible and decides to leave him. Meanwhile, Steven confides in Claudia that he spent the night with Ted but feels the need to end things with both of them. As Steven and Ted share a farewell hug, Blake walks in and erupts in rage at the sight of Ted with his son, leading to a violent confrontation. In the chaos, Ted trips, strikes his head, and tragically dies.
