The news of the explosion spreads, and everyone believes Steven has perished, prompting Blake to search for him. Alexis decides to accompany Blake. Meanwhile, Sammy Jo's father confronts Krystle to demand his daughter's portion of Steven's inheritance, but Krystle refuses and ejects him. Joseph visits Jeff at his office, warning him to steer clear of Kirby. In a fit of rage, Jeff, affected by toxic paint, lashes out at Joseph. Mark continues to reach out to Krystle, who is desperate to sever ties with him. Blake discovers the ongoing communication between Krystle and Mark, igniting his jealousy.
