A visibly unwell Jeff struggles to maintain his composure as Sammy Jo reveals her plans to move to New York to pursue modeling, deciding she can no longer care for her son, Danny. Blake offers her $100,000 to take on the role of mother, but she turns it down. Alexis sweetens the deal, yet Sammy Jo still refuses. Excitedly, Krystle and Blake learn that Sammy Jo wants them to adopt Danny. Meanwhile, Alexis continues her affair with Mark. In a Singapore hospital, Steven, bandaged and recovering from severe burns from the oil rig explosion, finally regains consciousness, where a doctor explains the need for plastic surgery.
