Episode Overview
Title: Sideswiped Plot: Blake is furious when he reads the morning paper, which falsely labels him as a murderer and an arsonist. He rushes to confront the Denver Mirror, only to encounter Alexis, who has taken over as the publisher. She gives him an ultimatum: either he leaves Denver or faces continuous attacks from her publication. Despite his hesitations, Blake is convinced by Michael Culhane, the Carrington family's former blackmailing chauffeur, to hire him again. Meanwhile, Steven attempts to bond with Adam for their father's sake, but Adam remains loyal to Alexis and Colbyco. Unbeknownst to Blake, he is being pursued by Phil Thorpe. As Sammy Jo and Clay Fallmont's relationship deepens, Alexis maneuvers to gain enough shares to control Denver-Carrington, forcing Blake out of his office but not out of the fight.
