Reed, a successful insurance agent, concocts a scheme to eliminate his obstinate boss and pursue his boss's wife, Gloria. The plot initially unfolds smoothly until Reed's boss, who is also Gloria's ex-husband, returns with incriminating photos of the murder and threatens Reed with blackmail.
