Overview

Kenji Hatano's dream of becoming a baseball star is shattered by the realization that one player's error can affect the entire team. His life takes a turn after witnessing a thrilling hydroboat race, particularly a daring maneuver known as the Monkey Turn, demonstrated by his Principal. Inspired yet challenged after capsizing during his own attempt, Kenji shifts his focus to kyotei racing. Two years later, he completes his training at Yamato and vows to his friend Sumi Ubukata that he'll rise to the title of Japan's top kyotei racer in just three years.
