In New York, Grace is consumed with worry that she hasn't created the ideal trip for Libby. Meanwhile, back in Victory, Russell takes on babysitting duties, navigating challenges from both Quentin and Patrick. An unexpected mishap occurs when Grace accidentally locks herself, Libby, and Nadine out on their hotel balcony, prompting a dashing fireman named Terry to come to their aid. Despite being put off by his patronizing demeanor, Grace later encounters Terry performing at a jazz club. They spend the night together at his home, where Grace meets his son Robby. Although they share a lot in common, Grace hesitates to pursue a long-distance relationship after her recent breakup with Rick.
