Mekaneck shares his backstory, revealing how Man-At-Arms outfitted him with a bionic neck after a fierce storm left him severely injured. During the chaos, he lost his son, Philip, and vowed to serve King Randor and the Royal Guard in hopes of someday locating him. It turns out that Count Marzo rescued Philip from the storm but has kept him captive, now demanding the throne of Eternia in exchange for the boy's freedom. Just then, Buzz-Off makes an entrance. Teela reminds the audience to be cautious while running or climbing, emphasizing that reaching a destination safely is more important than speed.
