Episode Overview

Jessica's debut novel, The Corpse Danced at Midnight, is being adapted into a big-budget film, with producer Jerry Lydecker at the helm. Furious over the drastic changes being made to her story, Jessica travels to Hollywood to confront him. However, the situation escalates when Lydecker is discovered dead on stage. Suddenly, Jessica finds herself the main suspect in his murder. Fortunately, the detective leading the case thinks she's too clever to have committed the crime and enlists her help to uncover the true killer.
