Episode Overview

After their vehicle fails following a dinner with the governor, Jessica and her friend Ames Caufield end up stranded in a quaint southern town. Just as they arrive, the local troublemaker Ed Bonner is discovered dead, and young Matt Burns, son of one of Ames' former students, becomes the prime suspect. Driven by Linda Bonner, the victim's sister who is deeply concerned for Matt's fate, Jessica decides to investigate the murder. However, animosity runs deep in the community, and it takes a stroke of luck, along with help from Andy Crane, for Jessica and Ames to uncover the truth.
