Episode Overview

After receiving a call from Aunt Mildred, Jessica decides to swing by New Orleans to see cousin Cal before heading to Houston. As soon as she arrives, she finds herself amidst a lively Mardi Gras celebration, only for the festivities to take a dark turn when the host is found dead, and Cal becomes the prime suspect. Determined to prove Cal's innocence, Jessica navigates a tangled web of deceit involving unscrupulous poker players, unfaithful partners, and vindictive police officers, all while trying to persuade a local lieutenant of Cal’s innocence.
