Episode Overview

Three decades ago, Sam Wilson was incarcerated for the murder of his employer, Malcolm Jarvis. Now, having served his time, he returns home to his wife and their adult son, who is about to welcome his first child with his partner, Terry. Georgia Jarvis reaches out to Jessica, urging her to investigate the case. Through a series of flashbacks, Sam recalls Jarvis offering him $10,000 to stage his suicide as a murder. While Jessica is convinced of Sam's innocence, she doubts it was a suicide and enlists the help of Sam’s son Rod, who works in law enforcement.
